Our Priority
Safety is of utmost importance to us. We have established safety rules for all of our activities that will be strictly enforced. We will introduce activities gradually and give children the chance to learn these rules quickly as they will be reviewed often. A strong safety ethic is non-negotiable.
Our well-trained staff will perform dynamic risk assessments at the beginning of each day, and will continue to do so as part of regular assessments. Our professional educators will conduct a head count every 30 minutes, and will observe children interacting with each other, and their environment. If an activity becomes dangerous, staff will redirect and facilitate a safer interaction.
Staff will be trained in CPR & wilderness first aid, and certain members are well versed in plant/fungus identification and wilderness survival. Students will also receive safety training in regards to wildlife.
